Mr. Resnick has been acquiring multi-family, retail, office and industrial properties since the mid 1990’s. His primary responsibility at NEA includes identifying value-added opportunities throughout the Continental United States (with a particular emphasis in Southwestern states - California, Arizona, Colorado, Utah and Nevada). As the Managing Partner and founder of several California limited liability companies and partnerships, he is involved in due diligence, partnership formations, negotiations, acquisitions, divestitures, acquisition finance and portfolio-wide leasing and management activities. To date, Mr. Resnick has been involved in numerous real estate transactions totaling over $90,000,000.00.
With acquisitions being the main focus of NEA’s private investment division, Mr. Resnick works closely with principals as well as third party investment brokers and related firms in an attempt to provide investors and affiliated partners with quality real estate opportunities available in each marketplace and within each product type.
Mr. Resnick has been actively involved in a number of civic, charitable and professional organizations including BOMA (Building Owners and Managers Association), IREM (Institute of Real Estate Management) and the ICSC (International Council of Shopping Centers). He has been a past board member of the Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce and served on the Chamber’s Government Affairs Committees and Parking Task Force.
